Rockland Community Foundation Offers Chazen Spirit of Rockland Scholarship
The Rockland Community Foundation is a public, non-profit, charitable organization established as a permanent resource to make Rockland County a better place to live and grow. The Foundation's mission is to improve the quality of life for all people in Rockland County by increasing charitable giving and connecting donors to community needs which they care about most. One such way is recognizing and supporting Rockland County youth dedicated to pursuing higher education studies. The Rockland Community Foundation is excited to announce our annual Chazen Spirit of Rockland Scholarship Program. The application can be downloaded from our website at http://www.rocklandgives.org - go to Grants and Programs. The deadline for submission is April 15, 2011. Each year a scholarship is awarded to a promising Rockland County high school senior, in need of financial aid, to assist with costs in attending a college of his or her choice.
