75-Year-Old N.J. Woman Accused Of Shoplifting

Police: $538 worth of jewelry reported stolen at Lord and Taylor's in West Nyack.

A 75-year-old New Jersey woman is charged with petty larceny in connection with the theft of $538 worth of jewelry from a West Nyack department store, according to Clarkstown police.

Police said Mary Martin of Northvale, NJ, was arrested at 8:40 p.m. Monday at the Lord and Taylor store at Palisades Center mall. Martin was released pending a Aug. 15 hearing in Clarkstown Town Court in New City.
