Boy Scout Troop 97's Newest Eagle Scout

Eagle Scout Court of Honor held for Will Badinelli

An Eagle Scout Court of Honor was held at Street Community Center in New City on Saturday for Will Badinelli, who earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Badinelli of West Nyack is a member of Boy Scout Troop 97.

Badinelli's Eagle Leadership Service Project was constructing a mounting ramp, platform, and picnic tables at Camp Venture's Therapeutic Equestrian Center in Stony Point.  Eagle Scout rank is a a distinction earned by just four percent of all Boy Scouts nationwide.

The event was well attended by family, friends, and fellow scouts. Rockland County Legislator Ed Day presented Badinelli with a Distinguished Service Award on behalf of the entire county legislature during the Court of Honor ceremony.
