College Achievements of New City Residents
Students named to the Fall Dean’s List at CT, MA, NJ and NY colleges
The names keep arriving from colleges in the northeast of New City residents whose academic prowess earned them a place on the Fall 2011 Dean’s List. At most institutions that means a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and completion of all courses for which they were registered.
Connecticut
The University of Hartford in West Hartford, CT announced Allison Bardio andEvan Fleischer have been named to the Dean's List for Fall 2011.
Massachusetts
Erin K. Flaherty, a member of the Stonehill College class of 2012, and Alyssa R. Valente, a member of the class of 2013, qualified for the Dean’s List at the Easton, MA college with a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better.
Springfield College, Springfield, MA has named James Kiernan , a Movement and Sport Studies major, and Ronald King, a Movement and Sport Studies major, to the Dean's List for academic excellence for the fall 2011 term.
New Jersey
Daniel Kolinsky and Jacqueline Silberman, earned placement on the Dean's List at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) in Ewing, NJ for the fall 2011 semester. They carried 12 or more credits that semester and received a 3.5 grade point average or above.
Berkeley College announced that Dariela Lora has been named to the Dean’s List at Berkeley College for the Fall 2011 Quarter. Lora attends the White Plains campus of Berkeley. Students who achieve a grade point average of 3.50 or better with a minimum of 12 academic credits qualify for the Dean’s List.
New York
Ashley Wixon was recently named to the President's List at The State University of New York at Potsdam. Wixon, whose major is English Writing, was among more than 900 students who were honored for academic excellence for having satisfactorily completed 12 numerically-graded semester hours with a minimum grade point average of 3.5.
Katherine Humenn was recently named to the Dean's List at The State University of New York at Potsdam. Humenn, whose major is Childhood/Early Child Education, was among more than 400 students who were honored for academic excellence after satisfactorily completing 12 numerically-graded semester hours with a grade point average of between 3.25 and 3.49 in the given semester
