New Instructors Ready To Help Rocklanders Lose Weight, Live Better

Nyack Hospital trained new leaders for Rockland's "Lose to Win" effort.

 

Nyack Hospital, in conjunction with Rockland County’s Steps to a Healthier NY Program, recently completed a “Lose to Win” Weight Loss Instructor training program.             

Certified instructors may offer the Lose to Win weight loss program to senior citizen, church, school, PTA groups an other clubs and organizations.

The newly certified Lose to Win facilitators are:           

Alana Boutelle: Rockland County Department of Health

Maria Gagliardi: Palisades Library

Jessily Gonzalez: St. Dominic's Home

Carol Guarino: ARC of Rockland

Patricia Hayden: North Rockland Education

Sarah Saperstein: WIC/Rockland County Department of Health

Maria Settles: Nyack Hospital Volunteer

Krista Stelmach: WIC/Rockland County Department of Health

Lucy Vasquez: Head Start of Rockland

The Rockland County Health Department says the Lose to Win Weight Loss Program has proven successful in locations throughout the county to help combat high rates of obesity and health-related diseases.  Information is available in Spanish, Creole and French.
