They talked to the kids about what the Board of Elections does and how elections are conducted. They also showed the group how to fill out a ballot, and then each child put his or her ballot into an actual voting machine. The practice ballot asked the kids for their opinions on such hot-button topics as Favorite Car, Favorite Ice Cream Flavor, Favorite Vegetable, Favorite TV Show and more.
