New City man accused of drug distribution, possession at Main Street shop.

Clarkstown confirmed this morning that they believe cocaine was being processed and distributed out of a longtime ice cream shop on Main Street in New City that is just across the street from a church and a school.

Police said Patrick Kilduff, 36, of New City, one of the operators of the ice cream shop, is accused of multiple felony charges for sale and possession of narcotics for distribution at Wally's Ice Cream Parlour. Clarksotwn police said their investigation is continuing, however, they do not believe drugs were sold out of the storefront counter window where ice cream is sold.

Kilduff was arrested during a daylight raid by Clarkstown police at the 145 S. Main St., shop, at the intersection of Third Street and Main Street — opposite St. Augustine Church and St. Augustine School. Police said Kilduff was arraigned in Clarkstown Town Court in New City and ordered held in the Rockland County Correctional Facility in New City pending another hearing.
