Store Employees Accused In $930 Theft

Two women charged with taking jewelry, clothing as they closed Mandee shop at Nanuet Mall.

Two employees of a Nanuet clothing store have been accused of stealing $930 worth of merchandise from the store, according to Clarkstown police.

Gina Negron, 25, of Pomona, and Chassity Del Valle, 26, of West Nyack, are accused of petty larceny and possession of stolen property, police said. They two women were arrested after they closed the Mandee store at the Nanuet Mall about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said the store manager was outside the store when he saw the two women with two bags filled with store merchandise, including clothing and jewelry. The women arrested and later released by police with tickets to appear in Clarkstown Town Court in New City on July 19.
