Three Men Charged With DWI in Separate Incidents

Two arrested along Route 59 in Clarkstown.

Three men are facing drunken driving charges after separate incidents, including two along Route 59 in Clarkstown, according to State Police.

Troopers from the Haverstraw barracks said Rudy A. Ventura, 37, of Spring Valley, was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, after an investigation at 11:36 a.m. on Sunday in a parking lot on Route 59. Ventura was released pending a hearing in Clarkstown Town Court in New City.

At 4:15 a.m. Monday, Carlos R. Abreu, 59, of Spring Valley, was stopped on Route 59, according to State Police. Abreu was given a ticket for failing to obey a traffic device and he was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, police said.

Abreu was also released pending a Town Court hearing.

In another incident, troopers from the Tarrytown barracks said Efrain Linares, 42, of Valley Cottage was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, after being stopped at 2:30 a.m. Monday at Hillcrest Plaza along Route 45 in Spring Valley. Linares was released pending a hearing in Spring Valley Justice Court.
