Applications will be available starting today for summer job with the Clarkstown Recreation & Parks Office. The positons include:
Maintenance - must be 18 years of age
Recreation Positions - must be 16 years of age
Lifeguards - must be 16 years of age and properly certified
Applications will be available at the Administration Building at Zukor Park located at 31 Zukor Road in New City and on the town’s website. The Administration Building is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Applications should be submitted no later than April 20th. For further information, call the Recreation and Parks Office.

More About Clarkstown Town Parks Board & Recreation Commission
The Clarkstown administration building is located here. All league and summer camp registration is conducted in these administration offices. There are two baseball fields, a beautiful soccer field, a basketball court, and a playground on site. During the summer months, the park is abuzz with athletic activity including little league, softball leagues, and soccer leagues.

Good Luck to the kids applying for these jobs, my child was the 2nd person to fill out an application in 2010 and the 5th person in 2011, and was never hired, humm I wonder who got the jobs, maybe the children of employees of the Town of Clarkstown, and every time my child called they stated we are not hiring any new employees this year every one from last year is coming back. (What) But when I take my other children to the summer camp the town runs their are about 10 new faces from the year before. I guess its all about who you know...... Disgraceful!!

The whole personnel system for Clarkstown is a disgrace. Do you realize that the Clarkstown Dept of Personnel does not have a web site where jobs are posted? The only place you can find jobs posted is on an obscure bulletin board in Town Hall. That is so only those in the know can apply for position and obviously get the job...
