Activities For Young Ones And A Holiday Celebration

Each day, Patch provides the nuts and bolts of local happenings with our five-bullet local dispatch. 

1)   Events: The Town of Clarkstown is offering the High Five program for four and five year olds not in kindergarten. The six-week afternoon program takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Street Community Center in New City and Fridays at the Pascack Community Center in Nanuet. It is a fun and non-competitive introduction to various sports with on developing motor skills, game concepts and teamwork through soccer, basketball and T-ball. The fee is $85. 2)   Events: Join the gathering for a candle lighting ceremony and the longest running Chanukah sing-a-long in Rockland County. It all begins at Nanuet Hebrew Center at 6 p.m. Details are here
