Bring Chanukah To Others With Song and Donations

Each day, Patch provides the nuts and bolts of local happenings with our five-bullet local dispatch. 

1)   Events: The Nanuet Hebrew Center brings its annual Chanukah Joy to Northern Manor and invites others to sing and mingle at 6:15 p.m.  Come bring warmth and friendship to our neighbors at Northern Manor at Middletown and Smith roads in Nanuet. Find more information here

2)   Events: The Rockland Section of the National Council of Jewish Women is sponsoring a 1:30 p.m. screening of “A Place at the Table” with Jeff Bridges at Beth El Temple at 415 Viola Road in Spring Valley. The film explores hunger in America and how individuals deal with their situation. Prospective members welcome. Refreshments with a Hanukkah theme will be served. The movie is free and guests may donate a box of cold cereal for a local food pantry. Get more details.
