Election Day: What Is Open And Closed

Each day, Patch provides the nuts and bolts of local happenings with our five-bullet local dispatch. 

1) Election Day Openings and Closings - Rockland County offices are open. The New City and Nanuet libraries are open. Clarkstown Mini Trans is operating on a regular schedule and garbage and recycling collections are on their normal schedule. Nanuet and Clarkstown schools and Albertus Magnus High School are closed.  Clarkstown Town Hall is closed as well as all community centers. 

2) Events: Joe’s Crab Shack at the Palisades Center is holding a two-day fundraiser for Autism Speaks. The restaurant will donate 20 percent of its proceeds on Wednesday and Thursday. Click here to print the flyer.
