Watch For Black Ice, Last Day To Apply For Absentee Ballots

1) Events: Today is the final day to apply for an absentee ballot for the Tuesday, Feb. 4 vote on the $6.5 million bond for repair of Congers Elementary School. The absentee application must be turned into the Clarkstown School District Clerk’s office today. Find absentee ballot information here.

2) Events: Four Rockland County Legislature committee meet tonight. The Public Safety Committee meets at 5:15 p.m., Multi Services Committee at 6 p.m., Planning & Public Works Committee at 7 p.m. and the Budget & Finance Committee at 7:45 p.m.  The meetings are held at 11 New Hempstead Road in New City and are open to the public.
