41st Feis & Fields Games

Sunday, July 20, 2014, Rockland County 41st Annual Feis & Fields Games were held in German Masonic Park, Tappan, NY. For the tenth consecutive year, Monsignor Edward J. Weber, Director of Priest Personnel for the Archdiocese of New York, was the celebrant for the mass. This is the second year that Feis has been held in German Masonic Park, Western Highway, Tappan.

I was appointed vicar in 2004. At one time, there were two masses celebrated, one in Gaelic and the other in English. Now there is only one mass, celebrated in English with a few parts said in Gaelic. The feis has been located in multiple places. It was at the Marian Shrine for years but overgrew the space so it moved to Anthony Wayne but with State cuts, the feis had to find

a new home.”
