United Hospice of Rockland (UHR) Special Events Coordinator Laurie Meltzer Bandremer recently accepted a check for $5,000 from Lou “Butch” Babcock. The proceeds help UHR continue its mission of providing comfort, care and support for those dealing with serious, life-limiting illness and their loved ones.
Presented by the Second Generation Motorcycle Association, the 9th annual fundraising event consisted of a daylong festival of scenic riding, live music, a huge barbeque, prizes, t-shirts, trophies, and more.
The Second Generation Motorcycle Association’s mission is to promote the exhilarating sport of motorcycling while projecting a positive image to the community. Second Generation has adopted UHR as the exclusive beneficiary of the event’s proceeds for the last six years.
