WEST NYACK, NY - ALL Star Sports Camp, a new partnership between JCC Rockland and RBI Sports Camp will open this summer at the JCC’s West Nyack Campus.
Campers will be introduced to a variety of sports in order
to improve their athletic skills. “We combine a mix of competitive games, traditional school games, and activities, where kids learn to think for themselves, be creative, and most of all, play and have fun,” said Carrie Sakin, JCC Rockland’s athletic Director.
Campers can enroll over 7 weekly sessions and activities
include basketball, dodgeball, flag football, floor hockey, relay races, soccer, softball, swimming, and a weekly camp Olympics. The camp also includes air-conditioned indoor facilities, lunch, and a new heated, outdoor pool, which will be built just time for the summer!
“We have a mutual philosophy that all our campers should have a phenomenal camp experience regardless of their gender, age or athletic ability,” said Al Conti, owner of RBI Camps in Valley Cottage.
Conti will be responsible for hiring the senior counselors,
who are teachers during the school year, as well as the junior staff - high school varsity and college students in the community, who have a passion for teaching children.
