Fifty volunteers are needed to judge the 2013 New York State Lower Hudson Valley Regional History Day competition on Saturday, March 9 at St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill.
The annual, national contest features exciting competitions that engage students in hands-on exploration of the past. This year’s theme is Turning Points in History: People, Ideas, Events.
Middle and high school students from across the Lower Hudson Valley will present projects in the following categories: documentary, performance, exhibit, historical paper and web site.
