MSG Varsity, Cablevision’s 24/7 HD network dedicated to everything high school, wants to see how their viewers get ready for the big game and help them get famous by showing the process on-air.
To continue the momentum of MSG Varsity’s new advertising campaign, they are asking high school student athletes and fans to submit videos onto the MSG Varsity YouTube channel showing their “Get Ready, Get Famous” preparation for the big game. The less than 30 second long video must include an introduction, title and tags in order to be eligible. Once a video is submitted it will be reviewed for a chance to be featured on-air. “We are familiar with the excitement on the playing field but there is a lot of preparation and heart that goes into getting ready for the main event, whether you are on the team or in the stands,” said Phil Summers, VP Marketing at MSG Varsity. ““The Cameras are Coming, Get Ready” campaign highlights a couple of situations in which students and fans get ready for their moment and we are now opening it up to everyone to showcase their pre-moment warm-ups.”
