"In the Night Sky" by local author Linda Zimmermann explores 75 years of UFO sightings in the Hudson Valley. Born and raised in Rockland County, Zimmermann was nonetheless surprised to find how many sightings have occurred here over the years, including in Haverstraw, Suffern, Congers, Pearl River, and Spring Valley. She interviewed over 100 people throughout the region, and it is their fascinating eyewitness accounts that form a compelling picture of something very strange happening in the skies above the Hudson Valley.
A fetaure-length documentary following Zimmermann's research has also just been completed. It will debut at the Rosendale Theater on February 5, and has been entered in the film festival at the international UFO conference in Arizona at the end of February.
