Rockland Jewish Family Service, a not-for-profit, non-sectarian community benefit agency, announces new therapy groups for young women with Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia, and their families.
The groups will begin in January 2013 and will be led by licensed, experienced mental health professionals.
Our therapy groups for young women with eating disorders will meet for 16 weeks. Participants will be grouped by age (14-17 and 18-22) and will develop the skills they need to gain control of their illnesses.
Our family therapy group will provide an environment in which families can share their feelings and experiences with other parents who are facing similar challenges. During this eight-week program, parents will also learn how to support their daughters during and after the therapeutic process.
All RJFS clinical programs are open to people of all faiths and are insurance-reimbursable. Please contact us for more information: 845.354.2121, ext. 140 or email reception@rjfs.org.
