Rockland Independent Living Center's 25th Anniversary Gala, which was postponed due to the hurricane, has been rescheduled for November 29th at 6 pm at The View on the Hudson in Piermont. RILC is planning this event, not only to mark this important anniversary and the program changes that have had a positive impact on the ability of people with disabilities to live independently and fully participate in the community, but to recognize people who have supported these efforts for the agency and the Rockland County community.
The “Senator Thomas Monahan Independent Living Award” will be presented to Arnold J. Fucci, Executive Director for Pupil Personnel Services at Clarkstown Central School District. Nicholas DeSantis, a Partner at O’Connor Davies, LLP will receive the “Spirit of Independence Award.”
The “Community Partner Award” will be presented to M & T Bank and accepted by Paula Mandell, Regional President.
