United Hospice of Rockland's (UHR) 25th Anniversary Gala, “Dancing With Our Stars,” raised more than $158,000. Held Sunday, October 14, 2012, at the Colonial Inn in Norwood, New Jersey, the event honored Dr. Edward and Raselle Fisher for their dedication and support of UHR and the community.
Guests enjoyed the Tony T Orchestra and special entertainment featured “Dancing with Our Stars.” Professional dancers from Rockland dance studios partnered with Rockland's stars: This year's dancers included: Stephen H. Grant of Thiells (dancing with Maria Stepanova), Robyn Haber of New City (dancing with Cowado Jasmine), Karen Hymowitz of New City (dancing with Victor Gagliardi), Felicity “Flick” Marinello of Nyack (dancing with Igor Sharapanyuk), and Paul Seid of New City (dancing with Karen Evora). The professional judges choice Felicity Marinello and Igor Sharapanyuk Peoples choice was a tie between Robyn Haber with partner Cowado Jasmine and Stephen H. Grant and partner Maria Stepanova.
