Anyone may apply, however we prefer people over age 28 due to life experience, with four to five hours per week available to counsel people in our community.
Training will begin on April 1, 2013 and run for 10 weeks on Monday evenings. In order to begin training all individuals must attend an informational meeting and screening. There will be informational meetings between 3/5/13 and 3/18/13. There is a fee for training, but reductions may be available if you have special qualifications, i.e. cultural expertise or fluency in a second language.
