Catholic Schools Week

On Thursday morning, Jan. 30, 2014, Rockland County Executive Ed Day was named Principal for the Day of St. Paul Catholic School in Valley Cottage, NY. Ed Day visited the children in almost all the classrooms. St. Paul School was celebrating Catholic Schools Week.   


Sr. Stephen Gerard, principal of St. Paul School, Valley Cottage, hands the microphone to Ed Day, Rockland County Executive. As principal, Ed Day made an announcement, on the loud speaker to the children of the school, that tonight would be a "No homework night!" Instead of homework, Mr. Day asked the children to do something nice at home.
