Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Hudson Valley Regional Sales Center Hosted Bowling Fundraiser For “Cares Days”

NEW CITY, N.Y. – (June 4, 2014) – The Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Hudson Valley Regional Sales Center hosted a bowling fundraiser that raised approximately $3,000 to benefit both the Hi-Tor Animal Care Center and Re-Build Hi-Tor during Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Days in April. During Cares Days, real estate salespersons and associate real estate brokers affiliated with all of the real estate company’s 55 offices gave back through projects such as food drives, park clean-ups, and fundraisers to assist with the medical bills of community members in need.

The Hi-Tor Animal Care Center (www.hitor.org) in Pomona takes in approximately 2,500 animals each year. Their mission is to preserve and improve animal life, to promote responsible pet adoption and ownership, and to provide humane treatment for all animals in their care. Re-Build Hi-Tor (www.rebuildhitor.org) is dedicated to constructing a new, state-of-the-art facility to house Rockland County’s homeless animal companions.

During the second annual Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Days event, 846 sales associates volunteered a combined total of 3,341 hours to support 64 different organizations and causes. Through their efforts, the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Foundation raised $22,775 for charitable causes. Sales associates also collected $9,000 worth of food, $1,500 in pet supplies and $8,400 in other goods for various organizations.

“Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage sales associates are not only outstanding professionals; they’re caring people who enjoy giving back to their communities. I want to thank the sales associates, office managers and staff, Cares Ambassadors, Cares Chairman Andy Emery and members of our local communities for making this event so successful on a regional scale,” said Hal Maxwell, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New Jersey and Rockland County, N.Y.
