Hundreds Came Out For Rockland's First Touch-A-Truck Event!

PJ Library, a program of the Jewish Federation of Rockland County, held a Touch-A-Truck experience in the parking lot of the Rockland Jewish Community Campus on Sunday, September 8. This exciting event was open to the public and attracted over 500 children and parents!

Touch-A-Truck provided kids of all ages with the opportunity to experience life-size vehicles and interact with community support leaders like police officers, firemen and construction workers. Children explored an army Humvee, RV, police car, dump truck, fire truck, landscaping trucks and more – in a safe, supervised environment.

A trackless train ride, a fire truck blow-up slide and a kids’ concert by Matty Roxx added to the excitement of the day.

PJ Library of Rockland provides free Jewish books and music for children, and fun, family-focused events for all. Learn more about PJ Library at www.jewishrockland.org
