National Latino Officers Association endorses Ed Day for Rockland County Executive

HAVERSTRAW - The National Latino Officers Association (NLOA) announced their endorsement of Ed Day for Rockland County Executive. During an event held in Haverstraw members of the organization gathered to show their support for Day and his campaign for Rockland County Executive. "Ed Day has excelled in true public service for over 35 years as a law enforcement officer, civic association president, PTA Life Award winner, youth coach, and legislative advocate for the community" said Anthony Miranda Executive Chairman NLOA.

"Ed has the leadership skills necessary to move Rockland County forward. That skill has been honed with command and executive experience in the public and private sector. He has led in crisis, which is exactly what we need now in Rockland," Miranda continued. "I am proud to accept the endorsement of such a prestigious and nationally recognized organization as the National Latino Officers Association. I am particularly proud to be able to accept this endorsement in the Village of Haverstraw, where the most sizable Latino community in Rockland calls home," Day said.

"What I take away from today is a special connection to a Latino community that will deservedly be an integral part of the rebirth of Rockland County, sharing the values that made this County great - hard work, family values, and a can do attitude," Day concluded.  NLOA represents members, both uniform and civilian, that are employed by law enforcement agencies on the city, state, and federal level. NLOA also represents non-law enforcement personnel employed in both the private and public sectors.
