Rockland Elite Youth Baseball to Hold Open Tryouts on Sept. 7 & Oct. 12, 2013

ROCKLAND ELITE YOUTH BASEBALL

ANNOUNCES 2014 SEASON TRYOUTS

The Rockland Elite youth baseball organization, which has won a combined six league and tournament championships this year, will hold open tryouts for their Spring 2014 season on Saturday, September 7 and Saturday, October 12 at Kings Park, located off Kings Highway (entrance at Pitkin Lane) in Congers.  The tryouts will be for their 7U, 8U, 9U, 10U and 11U teams, and each age group’s tryouts will be during the times listed below:

·         7U & 8U  –  9:30 to 11:00am

·         9U – 11am to 12:30pm

·         10U – 12:30 to 2:00pm

·         11U – 2 to 3:30pm 

Rockland Elite's 2014 season will consist of tournament play in the tri-state area along with league play in the lower Hudson Valley and in northern New Jersey.  Home games are played at fields in the New City / West Nyack / Congers area and all Elite players are encouraged to participate in Little League or other recreational leagues.  

Parents who register their kids online before Friday, September 6th may do so without cost; on-site registration is $25.  Potential players must attend at least one of the tryouts to be considered for a team.
