Rockland Jewish Academy fifth graders visit Cafe Europa
Rockland Jewish Academy fifth graders performed Chanukkah songs for a group of Holocaust survivors at Jewish Federation of Rockland's Cafe Europa. “Our students saw how a generation ago, people had to risk their lives to celebrate our holidays, and they learned that we should never take our freedom for granted,” said fifth grade Judaics teacher Naomi Beller.
