"The restaurant owners, chefs and beverage providers pull out all the stops to dazzle guests. Every year we have new restaurants joining us and many of the returning ones use the Taste to preview their fall menus with new delicious entrée samples.”

New this year is a tented “Wine, Beer and Cocktail Canopy” featuring a sampling of fine wines, spirits/cocktails and seasonal and craft beers from Southern Wine & Spirits, Trinchero Family Estates Wines, VeeV Spirits, WJ Deutsch & Sons Ltd., Manhattan Beer Distributors and Defiant Brewing Company.

Doors opened at 6 p.m. and guests were treated to tastings of 14 restaurants in the kickoff hour and their choice of beer, wine and cocktails. While savoring the dishes guests can bid on silent auction items.

At 7 p.m., guests are invited into the Hilton’s grand ballroom, where 22 restaurants will have prepared their signature dishes for the main event. Each guest is assigned a reserved seat at tables of 10 and 12.

The “Dessert Showcase” across the hall in the Conservatory Room follows, where 11 dessert purveyors offer a sampling of the sweet stuff from 8:45 p.m. – 10 p.m.
