Former Rockland DA, Michael Bongiorno, Discussed Corrpution at Rockland Republican Women's Leadership Council Meeting

Rockland County Former District Attorney, Michael Bongiorno Discussed Corrpution at the September meeting of the Rockland Republican Women's Leadership Council.

The Rockland Republican Women's Leadership Council is a local Republican Women's Club formed in September 2012.  Although we are looking for Republican Women to join us who are interested in upholding republican values as described on our website, we have associate memberships available as well.

Our next meeting to be held on October 8th, will feature a meet and greet for Rockland's Republican Candidates running for office.  It will be an opportunity to hear what they plan to do for Rockland County and to speak with them on a more informal basis.  We expect to have candidates running for County positions as well as those running for Town Supervisor positions.

The meeting will be held at the Blauvelt Library, 7:00PM, 541 Western Highway, Blauvelt, New York.

Please see our website for further details:  http://rocklandrepublicanwomen.com

Members of the public are welcome to visit us at our monthly meetings.  Membership dues are $25.00 per year.

Registered Republican Women who join will automatically become a member of the New York State Federation of Republican Women (http://nysfrw.com/)

At our September meeting, former Rockland District Attorney, Michael Bongiorno discussed the topic of political corruption.  Please see the video below which highlights parts of the discussion.

OUR MISSION:

We seek to foster and enhance ties between women in our community and Republican decision makers. We work to sensitize Republican leadership in government and the party to the unique viewpoint on issues affecting women in Rockland County, while articulating and advocating Republican ideas and policies within the community. We believe that women play an integral role in the development of public policies and are essential in mobilizing others to participate in the political process. We are committed to encouraging women to become more involved to build a strong, effective and respected Republican voice. It is the intent of this council to be a vehicle through which women can make their voices heard within the Republican Party, whether it be through elected office, fundraising, or grassroots activism."
