Little Dragons Karate
Where/When: Nanuet, Dragon's Den Mixed Martial Arts, Wednesdays and Fridays from 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Thursdays from 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Why Go: Get your three to six year olds out learning coordination and team work while having fun.

Kids Capoeira Trial Class for 3 & 4 year olds
Why Go: This Brazilian martial art disguised as a dance is all the rage in the U.S. and is a perfect way to bring rhythmic exercise to your little one’s gross motor development. Fun and games, balance and coordination - a perfect blend.

Suburban Foraging at Cropsey!
Where/When: Cropsey Community Farm New City, Friday, August 19 and Wednesday, August 24 at 5 p.m.
Why Go: Join suburban foragers Paul Tappenden and Adrienne Gomez as they lead you through a wild walk of discovery, identifying and harvesting edible plants – many of which you probably never knew you could eat. At the end of the walk, everyone will be able to participate in the preparation and tasting of a delightful meal created from the day’s wild finds!

Teen Gaming Competition
Where/When: New City Library, Friday, August 19 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
Why Go: Compete against other teens in challenges of Rock Band and board games.
