Borderline Folk Music Club Annual Picnic

The annual Free picnic will feature Si Kahn. Join us for the biggest folk music event of the year in Rockland Countythe annual picnic of the Borderline Folk Music Club. 

Si has written many songs and has no less than 16 albums to his credit. He is known worldwide for his work as a union organizer and crusader for social justice. He has also authored 4 books and 3 musical plays.

Si will be performing on stage and leading a one-hour workshop on topics relating to his work and music. There will be 20 professional musicians performing songs by Si as well as some of their own.

Bring a pot-luck and a lawn chair. Soft drinks will be provided. No refrigeration available so bring non-perishable foods that will not spoil in the outdoor heat.   A strict "no-alcohol" policy will be enforced.

There will be a separate non-stop song circle and jam area on the other side of the building led by Roger Sprung.

Please make reservations by phone or email so that we can adequately prepare. Free parking on site and at the school parking lot across the street.  For those coming by public transportation, the Coach USA Red & Tan Lines bus out of Port Authority will let you off right at the front door.
