Borderline Folk Music Show

The Borderline Folk Music Club today features "Stout" and Mara Levine in concert at the New City Volunteer Ambulance and Rescue Corps in New City.

Borderline organizer Sol Zeller says Stout is a five-piece string band from Staten Island that does all types of historical American and Irish music, but specializes in music of the sea with an emphasis on Sea Shanties.

Mara Levine  is the folk songstress from central New Jersey.  She is set to open the show with a 40 minute set of traditional as well as contemporary folk songs.

The show starts at 2 p.m. at the ambulance corps, just across from Clarkstown North High School at 200 Congers Road, New City.  Admission is $20 per person ($15 for Borderline members) and the clubs asks that participants bring a cold pot luck dessert dish to share with four other people.
