The Rockland Family Shelter in New City hosts a monthly book club in its Women's Center on the fourth Thursday of the month. The free group is open to the general public.
Members decide each month's book selection. It's not necessary to finish the selection to take part in the discussion. The group meets on Thursday, Oct. 28 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss Greg Mortonson's Three Cups of Tea. To request child care in advance or more for info, call Candy Pittari at 845-634-3391.
