Joe Crookston In Concert At The Borderline

The Borderline Folk Music Club Of Rockland County invites you to join us for our inaugural concert of 2012 when we will present JOE CROOKSTON in concert.

Joe Crookston is perhaps the best singer songwriter to come along in the past 20 years. Besides having a pleasant and sweet voice and possessing excellent instrumental ability, his songs are timely and relevant. I am sure that each and every individual can find something in his or her own life that is being described in a Joe Crookston song. Somehow you feel that he is talking directly to you when he is performing his own original compositions. Joe hails from Ithaca, NY. Opening the show will be the duo of Great Blue, (Steve Kaplan & Shirl Lawrence), from Yorktown Heights, NY who perform original as well as traditional material, in the Pete Seeger style.

Admission is $20 per person ($15 for Borderline members), and we ask that you bring a cold potluck dessert dish to share with 4 other people.  Please note that we are an alcohol free venue.
