MARK MIKLOS & THE RAMBLERS AT THE BORDERLINE

Spend a delightful afternoon listening to one of the hottest Bluegrass bands to come on the scene recently. Mark Miklos & The Raritan Valley Ramblers blend traditional bluegrass with a semi-modern twist which gives you that "high-lonesome" sound. Listeners will simply love Mark's delivery as his tone is strong and is one that sets the audience on their feet each and every time. Mark's voice is one that you won't forget. He also writes most of his own material. Opening the show will be Michael "Zaydie" Scolnick, a folksinger in the mold of Pete Seeger who has opened for Pete many times. Michael has a pleasant voice and is an accomplished guitar player. He runs the weekly song circle at the Beacon Sloop Club. Professional sound engineering will be provided by Gary Hagen of Bearfort Sound Studios. Admission is $20 per person ($15 for Borderline members) and we ask that you bring a cold potluck dessert dish to share with 4 other people. We are an alcohol free venue. For reservations e-mail Sol Zeller at solz1@optonline.net or call him at (845) 354-4586. There is plenty of on site free parking and the bus from NYC stops at our front door.
