Ride for a Cause at the Nyack Hospital Rockland 100

Nyack Hospital and the Hudson Valley Harley Riders are co-producing one of Nyack Hospital’s newest events:   The Nyack Hospital Rockland 100. 

This 100K motorcycle run will take riders through nearly 60 miles of scenic roads and parkways in Rockland County.  All proceeds from the motorcycle run will benefit the Nyack Hospital Foundation.

The official start line is at Dolce/IBM Palisades at 334 Route 9W in Palisades, where all makes and models of motorcycles will register between 9 and 11 a.m., receive their route sheet, and take off.  Bikers, passengers and guests are welcome back to the Dolce Palisades grounds for a festive barbeque picnic and entertainment provided by rockers known as Reverb.  Even if you don’t ride, the community is welcome to view the motorcycles, enjoy refreshments and entertainment, take part in the raffles and 50/50 drawing, or purchase a commemorative t-shirt.

Many members of Nyack Hospital’s medical staff enjoy their motorcycles and are looking forward to this inaugural event to help raise funds for the Hospital. 

“We know it will be a fun time for guests, who normally see us in our white lab coats or green scrubs, as we roll in on our bikes and take part in a great run,” said Dr. Richard King.

King, an avid rider and Family Practitioner, is serving as one of the Honorary Co-Chairs of the event on behalf of Nyack Hospital.
