Irish Folk Music Comes To New City

Borderline Folk Music Club hosts Michigan group.

The Borderline Folk Music Club of Rockland County presented a special Irish house concert in New City Sunday featuring the duo of Siusan O'Rourke and Zig Zeitler from Saginaw, Mich., who perform under the name "Stonecross."

They performed a program of traditional as well as original songs. Siusan is a fantastic vocalist with a sweet and rich voice. Zig is a fabulous master instrumentalist who plays all string instruments but specializes in the Bouzouki and Mandolin.

This was their first appearance  in Rockland County.
