Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rockland County's Fishing Derby at Lake Lucille

This years Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rockland County's Fishing Derby was sponsored by the Terribile Family and organized by  Karissa Terribile.  BBBS was amazed by the generosity of the Terribile family who annually undertakes hosting this event.  When Bill Terribile is asked why he thinks it is important for the kids in our program to have a chance to fish, Bill simply says "No matter what kind of day you have had, if your fishing then it is a good day.  It is important for these kids to have that chance."  Every child win or lose walked away with fond memories with their mentors and all the kids are looking forward to next year.  Thank you to the last minute volunteers Dan Petrow and Karissa's friend Eric Mayer.  Thank you to the Community of Lake Lucillle for opening its doors yearly for this event.
