Rockland Family Shelter's Hotline Open Even On Thanksgiving

Walk-in services closing for holiday 5 p.m. Wednesday, reopening on Monday.

Rockland Family Shelter, a community non-profit providing free, confidential, residential and non-residential services to those experiencing domestic, dating and or sexual abuse and all violent crimes, is keeping its 24-hour hotline open through the Thanksgiving holiday.

The 24 hour hotline is 845-634 3344. Services are multilingual, culturally sensitive and LGBTQ friendly.

However, because of the Thanksgiving holiday, Rockland Family Shelter walk in offices in New City will be closing at 5 p.m. on Wednesday,  and will reopen on Monday.

There will be no support and empowerment support group meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 23.
