The Chocolatier will host a fundraiser Thursday night to raise money for Nyack Hospital patient services.
“We’re calling it our Spring Fling,” said Sheryl Lorber, president of the Chocolatier. “We’re going to have a lot going on at the store, and we’re donating a percentage of everything purchased to the hospital.”
In addition to staying open late Thursday, the store will have complimentary mini makeovers and desserts. They will also have makeup artists from Lord & Taylor at the store applying makeup from companies such as Bobbi Brown, Chanel and Laura Mercier.
DOVine Designs will be at the store selling items from its collection of costume jewelry. A DJ will provide music.
“It should be a really fun night,” Lorber said. “It’s just a few days before Mother’s Day, so it would be a good time to stop by and pick up a gift while also helping raise money for a really good cause. And we’re donating money from sales of everything in the store from chocolate to gifts to everything, so people can stop by and purchase anything to help give money to the hospital.”
The event runs from six to nine p.m. at the store, located at 63 S. Main Street in New City. The event is free.
