New City Chamber Getting New Look from Local Designers

New City Chamber of Commerce officials announce a new look of their own to match the new look of the business district.

In conjunction with the launch of the redesigned New City business district, the New City Chamber of Commerce will officially introduce a new “look” of its own at its annual Street Fair on May 4.

“We felt it was perfect timing to rebrand the New City Chamber to coincide with the unveiling of our beautifully redesigned downtown,” says NCCC President, Gary Oteri. “Our new identity represents the true feeling of community that exemplifies New City."

South Mountain Studio, LLC, a New City-based marketing and graphic design firm, was selected for the rebranding project which includes a new logo, website, Facebook page, and redesigned marketing materials.

The Chamber has exciting plans for businesses and the community in 2014-
2015. In addition to the two Street Fairs (May and September), the Chamber has plans to introduce “A Taste of New City” featuring the hamlet’s many outstanding restaurants, and a New City resident membership offering discounts at many Chamber-member businesses.

“Our revitalized Chamber will serve the entire New City community, which
encompasses not only our businesses, but the local and county governments and residents that define our hamlet,” says Oteri. “We are excited about bringing more events and activities to residents, and providing more advertising and marketing opportunities for our member businesses. It will be a busy year for the Chamber!”

The New City Street Fair, sponsored by the New City Chamber of Commerce, will be held on Sunday, May 4 from 10:00am to 5:00pm, on Main Street in downtown New City. The Street Fair will feature The Mighty Spectrum Band, amusements and rides, House of Bounce, karaoke, balloon artist, caricaturist and more!
