Readers Choice Winner for Pet Groomer: Pet Palace

The New City business won 41 percent of the vote in the Patch "Readers Choice" Pet Groomer contest.

 

Need a place to get your furry best friend a bath, haircut or trimmed nails? This week, Patch asked our readers who their favorite pet groomer is.

And the winner is: .

Receiving 53 out of the 127 votes in the contest, the pet place is not only known for grooming, but also has a pet supplies and is a full line Pet Store specializing in happy, healthy, well socialized puppies

This family-run business has been around since 1985 and offers an all-breed grooming salon.

"It's excting we're really thrilled. We appreciate that people recognize our hard work and dedication to all of our pets. We've been here 17 years," said Owner Roberta Staley. "We made a lot of people happy with our puppies. We just got a new crew in yesterday and everyone's welcome to come check out our family and pets."

Located next to DeCiccos Market Place in the back, and aside from dogs, they also can help owners with birds, fish, gerbils, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits and reptiles.
