Fire Hydrant Snow Removal

Update:
Scouts and leaders from Troop 97 cleared about 50 hydrants Sunday morning, including one that was called in to the Town's Emergency Management personnel. Thanks to all for stepping up on short notice and providing this valuable service to our community.

Boy Scout Troop 97 will be out clearing snow from fire hydrants Sunday morning (and possibly Monday as well) from 8 am to 11 am.

This is in response to notices from the Town regarding the 2300 hydrants, many of which are now snow covered.

If you are aware of a hydrant in New City and are unable to clear it due to age or disability, contact Scoutmaster Bill Badinelli in the am at 845-300-7695 and they will try to help you out.
