Local Orthodontist Named President of Northeastern Society of Orthodontists

This past Sunday, Board certified, New City Orthodontist, Terry Sobler, DMD was named president of the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists ( NESO) .  Dr. Sobler, has been practicing orthodontics for over 40 years and was awarded this honor for his years of dedication to the profession and organization.  

The Northeastern Society of Orthodontists (NESO) is a not-for-profit corporation, recognized as a constituent of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO). NESO serves orthodontists in the states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York and the Canadian provinces of Quebec, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.

With over 1700 active members, the purpose of NESO is:

  • To advance the art and science of orthodontics.
  • To encourage and sponsor research.
  • To strive to maintain the highest standards of excellence in orthodontic education and practice.
  • To make significant contributions to the health of the public
This is just the latest of Dr. Sobler's achievements during his 40 year career.  Dr. Sobler practices orthodontics with his son, Dr. Ian Sobler at, Sobler Orthodontics, located at 339 North Main Street, New City.
