After Hurricane Sandy: Lots of Trees Down

Several people were injured by falling trees or tree limbs in Clarkstown during Hurricane Sandy, but Police Chief Michael Sullivan said no one was seriously injured.

Because of the dangers of down trees, damaged trees and down utility lines, Sullivan said town resident should not venture out unless absolutely necessary. Clarkstown has a vehicle ban in effect until 6 p.m.
