(UPDATE) Eagle Scout Project Adds To Little Tor Garden

Michael Kezner constructed a garden with planting beds and benches at his former school.

The Clarkstown School Board recognized Michael Kezner for his Eagle Scout project at Little Tor Elementary School. The Clarkstown North High School junior, a Little Tor graduate, returned to the school and built a small garden with planting beds and two benches for his Eagle Scout project. The board thanked for his contribution and School Board President Joe Malgieri presented him with a Certificate of Recognition at Thursday’s meeting. Kezner, a member of Troop 97, is preparing for his Eagle Scout Board of Review.

Michael Kezner has completed his Eagle Scout project but has not officially achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, which is the highest rank in Boy Scouts. He is working on the final steps to reach that goal.
