Nanuet Resident Wins $20,000 In Lottery

New York Lottery Awards $20,000 Cash Prize To Nanuet Quick Draw Winner

 

The New York Lottery today announced that Thomas Weaver of Nanuet won $20,000 in the Quick Draw held on December 4th. Weaver purchased the winning ticket at the Foodmart USA at 61 Bardonia Road in Bardonia.

New York Lottery winners this year, the most recent being a Nyack resident who won $1 million. Prizes ranging from $10,000 to $5 million have also been won by residents of New City, Congers and Nanuet.

The New York Lottery continues to be North America's largest and most profitable Lottery, contributing close to $2.9 billion in fiscal year 2011-2012 to help support education in New York State. The Lottery's aid represents nearly 15 percent of total state education funding to local school districts.
